He spoke of peace

To my Christian friends, we remember Jesus today.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Palestine. At the time the Romans were in charge and called the area Judea (which no longer exists), but before and after that the land was known as Palestine. The earliest written record referring to Palestine as a geographical region is in the Histories of Herodotus c. 430 BCE (so, 430 years before Jesus’ birth), which calls the area Palaistine.

Let us keep working to free his country from oppression and destruction by the occupying force, that Western settler colony called Israel. Peace.
