It’s not a “war” between Iran and the US.
Calling it that is propaganda, to make it seem equal.
Iran has not attacked America, it is defending itself from attack.
How many military bases does Iran have surrounding the US? None.
How many military bases does the US have around Iran? At least nineteen.
How many bombs has Iran dropped on the US? None.
How many has the US dropped on Iran? Countless.
Iran is not invading the US, but the US is invading Iran, in another war crime.
Why Is This Happening?
Did the US and Israel attack to stop Iran creating a nuclear bomb?
Of course not. Iranian leaders had a ban on doing so (and then the USA and Israel murdered those leaders). The USA and Israel had been claiming Iran was “weeks away from a bomb” for decades, which is all a lie to create a pretext.
And why shouldn’t Iran have a nuclear bomb? If it had them, the US and Israel wouldn’t have attacked it. That’s the lesson this is teaching every nation. The US and Israel have just made the world far less safe by ignoring international law yet again.
Iran hadn’t invaded or declared war on other countries in hundreds of years. The US and Israel invade multiple countries every year. The US is the only nation to use nuclear weapons against people – and it used them on civilians, no less. It gave Israel nuclear weapons, even though Israel refuses to join any of the organisations that limit them. Two of the most violent states in the world have nuclear weapons, and attack other nations and commit genocide.
It’s not just Trump, it’s the whole system, red or blue. Obama attacked other nations, Biden attacked other nations. Biden supported the Israeli genocide of Palestinians (and others) just as Trump does. Biden planned to bomb Iran just as Trump did.
Did they attack to stop Iran seizing international waters?
No. The press implied that Iran was illegally controlling the Strait of Hormuz. More lying propaganda for the US. Nations have control of their own surrounding sea and airspace. The Strait is in Iran’s (and Oman’s) waters. It belongs to Iran and Oman, and is theirs to control, whatever world powers claim. If they want to charge for access (which they didn’t do before they were illegally attacked) that’s their legal right.
If another nation sent warships to the US coastal waters the US would say it is an act of war. If those nations said the US is not allowed to own those coastal waters it would be nonsense. Yet that is what the US is doing to Iran and its coast.
It is about “protecting” women?
No. The first action from the US and Israel was to bomb a girl’s school, slaughtering the 170 girls there. Since then they have bombed civilians, women and children every day. Just as they did in Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and everywhere else they target. Murder of civilians isn’t liberation.
Governments connected to paedophile rings will never act in the interests of women. Governments that exonerate men who shoot women in the face while calling them bitches won’t act in the interests of women. Governments that overthrow democracies and install tyrants do not care about women.
And it exposes so much hypocrisy. The EU is eager to sanction Iran which was the victim of illegal war started by Israel, but the EU supports Israel which started an illegal war on Iran. Source.
So, why is all this awful bloodshed and destruction happening?
For the US, its violence is about imperialism and money. Oil and resources. They took over Venezuela for its oil, another gangster war crime. They have always wanted even more of the Middle East to obey them.
For Israel it is about creating “Greater Israel”, their own empire built on murder and land theft.
And for both, there are elements of racism and religious bigotry, targeting Arabs and Muslims.
As I read this morning:
“What Israel is doing in Palestine and Lebanon is terrorism. What Trump is doing in Iran is terrorism.”
I also read this:
