Another Reason Why Everything Is Political ...

I set up this blog because everything is political, as I explain here.

The concept is encapsulated perfectly in this poem by Palestinian poet Marwan Makhoul:

In order for me to write poetry that isn’t political

I must listen to the birds

and in order to hear the birds

the warplanes must be silent.
